5 Quick Hairstyles For Moms

It's been said that being a mother is perhaps the hardest, most rewarding job a woman will ever experience. It's a job that requires time (or lack thereof) and sacrifice. Many of us are simply trying our best to balance our mommy-work-life duties with the little time we do have, yet still look and feel our best in the process. On the subject of hair, here are 5 quick, step-by-step hairstyles for moms that can be achieved in 10 minutes or less on any well detangled hair texture.

Hairstyle #1: High Bun

Step 1: Smooth edges and hair at the nape with the Design Essentials Natural Honey & Shea Edge Tamer. For thicker textured hair, use your favorite go-to holding gel.

Step 2: Brush hair into a high ponytail and secure with an elastic hair band.

Step 3: Wrap and tuck your hair loosely and counter-clockwise until your ends are no longer visible.

Step 4: Secure with bobby pins. Then, carefully shape the bun to your desired fullness.

Step 5: Lightly spray style with Formations Finishing Spritz for a soft hold and a pop of shine.

Step 4: Braid section (if needed, watch Supa Natural's YouTube tutorial on How To Cornrow Your Own Hair For Beginners.)
